RULES FOR WESTMINSTER OFF-LEASH DOG PARK
Welcome to Westminster Off-Leash Dog Park. Please abide by the following rules and regulations while you and your dog enjoy this off-leash dog exercise facility.
Posted off-leash hours 5am to 10:30pm must be obeyed at all times Outside of off-leash area all dogs mush be restrained by a leash not to exceed six feet in length (LAMC 53.06)
Dog defecation must be removed by owners (LAMC 53.49) Vicious or uncontrollable animals are not permitted to be at large at any time (LAMC 53.34)
For the health and safety of your puppy, no dogs under the age of four months old are allowed to use this facility.
All dogs over four months old shall have proof of licensing and vaccination (LAMC 53.15 and 53.34)
Dogs with dangerous or communicable diseases are not allowed on park premise at any time (LAMC 53.30)
Dog owners are required to stop dogs from digging and repair all damage that occurs.
Female dogs in any state of heat are not permitted in the park (LAMC 53.29)
Dog owners must quiet their barking dogs or remove them from park premise.
During hours of operation, all dogs must remain off-leash within the off-leash area.
Off-leash dogs must be under owners voice control at all times.
Dogs in the off-leash area must be accompanied by their owners at all times.
No more than three (3) dogs per person are allowed in the off-leash area at one time.
No food is allowed (animal or human) in the off-leash area at any time.
No other animals except dogs are allowed in the off-leash area.
Permits are required for organized activities such as obedience training, dog shows, etc. Please call (310) 837-8116 or inquire at the Senior Center office for permit information.
The small dog area provided inside the off-leash facility is for dogs weighing less than 25 pounds.
No Loitering (LAMC 63.44 B(7).
No Littering (LAMC 63.44 B(19) (this includes cigarette butts)
